Your default Medscape homepage is based on the specialty listed in your profile under Content Preference.

If you would like to change your default specialty homepage, log in to your Medscape account and update your profile settings. (Note: These changes CANNOT be made within the Medscape App.) 

After logging in, click on the profile icon and choose About You from the drop-down menu. Click or tab the Edit button for Content Preference and then select the specialty of your choice. Be sure to click the Save button. 

You can also view the content for a different specialty without changing your default. From the Medscape homepage, tap or click More --> Specialties. This option allows you to select another specialty homepage for your current session.
