Your default Medscape homepage is based on the specialty listed in your profile under Content Preference.

If you would like to change your default specialty homepage, log into Medscape and update your profile settings as follows:

(Please note, these changes CAN NOT be made within the Medscape App)

From the Medscape website, please go to My Account (look for the settings/gear icon in the upper right corner of the page, next to your name) and select Professional/Contact Information.

On the left side of the page, you should see different sections of your member profile. 
Select Content Preference and then select the specialty of your choice.
Make sure to click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

 Side note: If you decide you want to look at another specialty homepage, without changing your default, you can change your specialty homepage 'for the moment'. From the Medscape homepage (News and Perspectives tab), look for the Medscape title at the top, and you will see a small arrow which will allow you to change the specialty homepage for a session.
