If your primary area of practice falls under one that qualifies for ABIM MOC points, but you do not see an option to earn ABIM MOC points, your primary area of practice may be incorrect.

To verify or update your primary area of practice:

1. Log in to your Medscape account
2. Click the gear icon next to your name and select Professional Information
3. Check that your Primary Specialty is correct and change if needed
4. Click Update at the bottom of the page to save any changes made

Please note: Medscape cannot issue ABIM MOC points for previous activities if your area of practice was incorrect at the time of completion.
