If your primary area of practice falls under one that qualifies for ABIM-MOC points, but you do not see an option to earn ABIM-MOC points, your primary area of practice may be incorrect.

To verify or update your primary area of practice:

1. Log in to your Medscape account.
2. Click on the profile icon at the top right of the screen and select Professional Information.
3. Confirm that your Primary Specialty is correct or change, if needed.
4. Click Update at the bottom of the page to save any changes made.

Your specialty must be included on the following list in order to earn ABIM-MOC points:  https://help.medscape.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001560751-What-primary-areas-of-practice-qualify-for-ABIM-MOC-points 

Please note: Medscape cannot issue ABIM-MOC points for previous activities if your area of practice was incorrect at the time of completion.
