If you no longer wish to receive a  particular Medscape newsletter or email, simply click the words  "Unsubscribe" toward the bottom of the mailing. This will take you to a second page where the unsubscribe for that particular product mailer can be submitted. 

If you no longer wish to receive emails from a particular business unit of Medscape, you will want to select the 'opt out' link from the mailer you are receiving. This will take you to a second page where the opt out for that particular business unit can be submitted. Each mailer you receive could be from another business unit.  Business units are listed on the bottom of the mail. Our Medscape business units are as follows: Medscape Education, Medscape from WebMD, and WebMD Professional.  Please allow 10 days for your request to feed throughout our systems.

If you want to stop all emails and are unsure which business units you have or have not opted out , please click the 'Contact Us' button on this page, selecting the 'Edit Profile' category, and "Other Profile Changes" for the subscategory. In the description box, please mention that you are requesting a GLOBAL opt out. **Important**, once globally opting out, it is rather difficult to decide to start receiving emails again. Please ensure you truly wish to globally opt-out of all Medscape business unit emails. A member Support rep will answer your request in the order it is received.

If you believe an opt out is not working as it should, please click the 'Contact Us' button on this page, & forward the mailer you continue to receive.

We also recommend updating your email preferences by going to My Account and selecting Newsletter Preferences, which will allow you to choose which types of mailings you would like to receive.
