After the visit, finalize the recording to instantly generate an EHR-ready summary. You can edit the summary directly within the app as needed.
Copy and paste your new summary directly into your EHR app, or access your summaries on your computer. Summaries are stored for 72 hours, giving you flexibility in writing your clinical notes when it fits your schedule.
We highly recommend accessing Scribe via your profile menu on the Medscape website so it's easy to copy the summary into your EHR.
1. Click the gear icon next to your profile name, and select Scribe
2. You will see a QR code on your computer screen. (The one listed here is simply an example of a QR code and not the one for your account) Open the camera on your smart device, and point it at the QR code (but do not take a photo, and make sure it is on photo "regular photo mode", not portrait or any other feature). Select the yellow 'sign in with pass key"
3. Be sure to click the blue accept button and enter your passkey. This is an important step. If this times out, or if you see "connecting to device" on the computer screen, please try scanning your QR code and again, and be sure to press the blue accept button faster, and get your passkey entered.
4. Once the above steps are complete, you will see your available summary. Click copy summary, and then paste into your EHR/EMR.
(Please note, Or you can copy and paste from our App in the Scribe section, find your recording and select 'copy all' and then paste into your EHR/EMR. This is easier if your EHR/EMR is on an App or Mobile Web)
