No, once you stop recording on Scribe, you can not continue recording. You will see a pop up on the screen that asks if you are certain you want to stop recording. Please be mindful as once you confirm that you want to stop the recording, there is no way to record more on this same recording. 

If the recording stopped on its own, please keep in mind the following allowed recording times: minimum of 2 minutes and maximum of 2 hours

If you are in a brand new recording and it is not recording, please ensure you do not have your audio in use somewhere else on your device - this could be music, a meeting, a call via an instant messenger...all of these items would cause a recording to not function.
